The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Thursday the robustness of the national economy, which
was evidenced by the plans of violence promoted by the extreme right after the presidential
elections of July 28.
“Look at how the economy behaved.
I can practically say that it had no disturbances,” said the Head of State,
highlighting the “coordination with agricultural producers, with agro-industry,
with supermarkets, with popular municipal markets”, to ensure
the full functioning of the country's entire distribution and supply system.
During a meeting with representatives of Banking, Insurance
and Securities, he noted that this means that the country has a
robust economy “and that the political dispute is no longer transferred to the economic field. The
economy is no longer a battleground of ideologies, parties and
politics. The economy is already in the field it needs to be in, in the field of
work, effort, production and the construction of the future,” he emphasized.
