Head of State: In Venezuela we are creating a new model of civilization and political culture

This Thursday, April 24, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the Bolivarian Government is committed to building a new model of civilization and a new political culture.

“We are determined to build a new civilization model, a new political culture, since the neoliberal model has run out, that even US imperialism has abandoned it,” he stressed in the El Café segment of his program “Maduro Live De Repente”.

For this reason, he stressed that currently the United States, “proposes a hegemonic protectionist model and has broken all the trade rules and free trade agreements that they maintained with their supposed allies.”

“They themselves have raised the flags of the exhaustion of the rules of the game, economic, political and commercial in the world,” he said.

He said that “they stabbed to death the World Trade Organization, and they stabbed to death all the free trade agreements they had with all the countries of the world. They kicked their allies in the ass with the imposition of tariffs, they're after them.”

In that scenario, the head of state argued that North American imperialism “kicks the European Union, they wash, mop the floor with NATO. And they're sold out.”

On the other hand, in Venezuela, he stressed “we have built a social force, political and moral, a popular conscience and an incredible capacity for leadership.”
