After insisting on the importance of oversight to ensure compliance with the task of providing security to all Venezuelans, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed the need to move forward in consolidating the new police model at the service of the people.

During the ceremony of handing over equipment for the security forces in the country, the National President stressed that “it is very important that the police accompany the people and give them trust and love.”

“You are trained by the Republic to protect the People and Venezuela must move forward to have the best police in the world and it must be the Bolivarian National Police created by our Commander Hugo Chávez,” he said while stressing the importance of the commitment of each of the members of this security force to achieve this objective.

“You must achieve it and it is in your hands, and I am sure that we can achieve it with conscience, will and commitment,” he said.
