Head of State: More than 216 million kilos of coffee were produced in Venezuela in 2025

Coffee production in the country, during 2025, produced 4 million 701 thousand quintals in Venezuela, which is the equivalent of more than 216 million kilos, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
During his participation in the fourth Venezuelan specialty coffee meeting 2025, the Head of State indicated that this figure represents an increase of 55% compared to the previous year when 3 million 027 thousand 724 quintals were produced, equivalent to 139 million 275 thousand 304 kilos.
He also noted that currently more than 60,000 families are still active producing coffee in 20 states and 135 municipalities in the country.
“Here was a time in the years 2017, 2018, 2019 when getting a quarter of a kilo of coffee was impossible. Sanctions, threats, blockades, economic war. We Venezuelans put on our boots and work, to go from 0 hectares of coffee production to 250,000 hectares currently planted,” he said.
