On a tour of the new headquarters of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) Training Academy, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that new police officers will be trained within four years.

“It's about four years, eight semesters for a total of 7,500 hours of academic training, it's intense from a professional and academic point of view, they will have the best police training in the history of Venezuela and the largest, and those things will be seen on the ground in a short time,” he said.

In that sense, he specified that “that's why I was talking about medium-term goals, for example the year 2050, which is just around the corner. Those who are trained today will see the Homeland greened with an example police from the world”.

He pointed out that “this academy and this university will be valued in the world to come and form in a new social and police model the future security of many societies that are suffering from the anti-values of consumerist capitalism that are shoved to the bone and are subject to insecurity and criminal gangs. Venezuela has taken great steps to overcome those elements that we live and suffer”,
