Head of State on ALBA-TCP: We are the lifeblood of the union of Latin America and the Caribbean

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, exalted this Monday the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) as the continent's “vital force of union”.

“The ALBA-TCP is the vital force of the union of Latin America and the Caribbean, it is a very powerful engine to continue persevering on the path of unity in diversity, to continue persevering on the path of independence and sovereignty, of patriotism and courage and of the construction of every model that peoples decide,” he said during his participation in the XI Summit of Heads of State and Government of the regional block.

He stressed that Venezuela is “on the path of Bolivarian, Christian, humanist Socialism of the 21st century (...) we are on the path of the union of all the forces of Latin America and the Caribbean.”
