Head of State: On December 15, 15,891 principal justices of the peace will be elected in the country

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, explained that on December 15, 15,891 principal justices of the peace and 31,782 alternate judges and judges will be elected in the country.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for the Communes, Ángel Prado, reported that a total of 5,297 organized territories will elect their judges and justices of the peace on December 15. From the Con Maduro+ program this Monday, the head of the ministerial portfolio explained that “it is a process that has tremendous enthusiasm (...) We are going to the fourth election in Venezuela and this time with the largest number of communes.”

For his part, the first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, explained that until the 28th of this month, the process of nominating candidates for justices of the peace will take place. “Among the requirements is being Venezuelan or Venezuelan, over 25 years of age, having respect for the Fatherland, proven morality, three years of residence in the sector where you are applying,” she said.
