The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Monday the call to all sectors of the population to join the debate to consolidate the Constitutional Reform project.
During the 72nd broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, the Head of State emphasized that the 1999 Magna Carta “is the best constitution in the entire history of Latin America and the Caribbean. Hugo Chávez did it with the People. And now we are going to modernize and perfect it along the way of Bolivar, of Chávez, of Zamora, of Simón Rodríguez.”
He stressed that “the only one who can modify that constitution, the only one who can perfect, modernize, expand, improve it, is called the Sovereign People of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and they will do so.”
In this regard, he invited “everyone to join this debate. This is a debate about everything. This is a debate of those who believe, of those who do not believe, of those who say they see in order to believe, of those who believe without seeing. But those who say they see in order to believe will later believe,” he emphasized.
