Head of State on the Angostura Speech: One of the Most Valuable Treasures of Bolivarian Thought”

The head of state, Nicolás Maduro, through his account on the social network X, commemorated 205 years since the installation of the Congress of Angostura, by the Father of the Fatherland Simon Bolivar.

The national president recalled that during this Congress the Liberator gave a “masterful speech” in which he laid the foundations for the creation of the new Republic.

“205 years ago, the Liberator Simon Bolivar installed the Congress of Angostura, giving a masterful speech, in which he laid the philosophical, political and social foundations for the creation of the new Republic, a declaration considered to be one of the most valuable treasures of Bolivarian thought,” he wrote
