Head of State: One million migrants have returned because the country stabilized

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his program “With Maduro+”, denounced the cognitive and psychological manipulation that the opposition promoted through social networks during the presidential election campaign to generate hatred and revenge in voters based on their desire to see their families who went abroad return.

“Migration, as in many revolutionary processes, was a setup of great manipulation, of many people who went to look abroad for an economic option, and they turned what is a fact of love, an emotion, they turned it into a need for revenge,” said the Head of State.

He explained that out of that feeling of revenge, they focused their hatred against Chavism and President Maduro. “If you vote for Maduro you are complicit and your son is going to stay abroad, when it's the other way around because the million who have returned have done so because we have stabilized the country,” he said.
