Head of State opens textile company in Aragua

Through a telephone contact, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the inauguration of a Social Textile Production Company in the state of Aragua.

He explained that this is a project born and financed directly by the popular base installed in the Commune of El Indio Sorocaima, in the municipality of Mariño.

President Maduro stressed that this venture is a sign of the success of the new community management model, where strategic decisions are made from the ground up. “This is the project that triumphed in the national consultations of July 27, where the projects were chosen... This textile project is a youth project, for youth. Who approved it? You, the youth. There is no more democracy than that!” , he said.

The new Direct Social Production Company is dedicated to the manufacture of garments and represents a model of real circular economy, which articulates community needs with the productive capacity of Venezuelan youth.
