Head of State ordered civic-military-police patrols and mobilized people on the street

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in a Message to the Venezuelan People gathered at the Presidential Palace of Miraflores, announced that in order to restore peace and tranquility to the country after the election day in which Chavism triumphed, the streets will be taken over by the people in civic, military and police mobilization.

“The streets have to belong to the People, so starting today, and every day that is to come, until we restore peace, tranquility and normality, where they disturbed it, there are two actions that must be done, one: to comply with the order I gave today in the National Security Council regarding military-police patrolling throughout the country and people mobilized in the street every day,” he said.
