Head of State: Our People are ready to think about their future (+constitutional reform)

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified this Saturday his trust in the People to embody the necessary elements to guarantee a constitutional reform for the future.

From the Elliptical Hall of the National Assembly, the Head of State urged the members of the National Commission for the reform of the Constitution to make “a great effort of integration, national consultation, debate and elaboration. It's a great effort of collective wisdom, national wisdom and the integration of all opinions.”

In this regard, he stressed that “beyond the threats, beyond the tests we have overcome, beyond the scenarios we have managed to build for the new, I am convinced that our country and our people are prepared to think about their future and to leave advanced elements of that future embodied in a great constitutional reform”.
