Head of State: Popular self-government is the right and relevant path for Venezuela

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reiterated his commitment to the deepening of popular self-government.

During the assessment of the II National Popular Consultation, held last Sunday, August 25, he assured that the correct and pertinent path for Venezuela is that of popular self-government, the “path of Chávez”.

In this regard, he assured that Venezuela is currently in a process “of deepening and accelerating changes that were delayed, for various reasons, which led us to reproduce bureaucratic methods (...) in which aerial, aerial leadership without feet on the ground is developed; to develop superficial bureaucratic aerial forms of government, then we are going to the great stage of popular self-government and I am sure that we are not going to make mistakes.

He also specified that with popular self-government, life in the country will be “much better” and will provide the necessary changes.
