Head of State predicts economic growth exceeding 10% of GDP in 2024

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his Maduro+ program, announced economic growth of 8.58% during the first semester and predicted that this increase could reach 10% of Gross Domestic Product by the end of the year.

“The Central Bank of Venezuela has already set a growth rate of 8.58%, a record in the Latin American continent, and the projection was a growth of 8% of GDP, but it will be higher and perhaps reach 10%, of the real economy, not that of speculating in securities and bonds,” stressed the Head of State.

The head of the National Executive reiterated that growth is the product of the functioning of all the engines of the economy, especially industry, agribusiness and entrepreneurship.

“1,459,000 projects in record time and we must exceed two million,” said the national ruler in the 54th edition of Maduro+.
