Head of State promoted Ambassador Martínez Mendoza to Major General

This Sunday, President Nicolás Maduro Moros, through his Telegram channel, reported on the promotion to General of the Division General of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to the Venezuelan ambassador to Colombia, Carlos Eduardo Martínez Mendoza.

“On behalf of Liberator Simon Bolivar and our Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, I promoted to Major General of the FANB in active reserve to the Venezuelan ambassador to Colombia, Martínez Mendoza,” wrote the President.

Likewise, in the audiovisual material released by the Command Center of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces for planning the Binational Operation for Sovereignty, Peace and Absolute Security that has been activated in the new reinforcement phase, he stressed:” Congratulations! Let's continue on the path of Peace!”
