The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, decreed by the United Nations in 1977, ratifying his absolute commitment and his unwavering faith in this cause, which is the most sacred of humanity.
From his Telegram channel, he stressed that “it is a global consensus that the
Palestinian people have the right to freedom, peace and life. From
Venezuela, we advocate that the recent ceasefire be converted into a true
peace, with the justice that its people deserve; where the
genocide is repaired and the full right to an independent State is guaranteed.”
He added that “our
conviction is that more must be done; the Palestinian cause travels
around the world and calls us to action. We, in Venezuela, with the example of
our own resistance, say to the Peoples: let us defend ourselves and
prepare for a strategic advance that will consolidate the definitive victory.
It is time for the international community to guarantee the
rights of the Palestinian people.”
In that sense, he exclaimed in the text, “Long live the right to Peace and Life! Long live the Human Homeland! Long live Palestine!”
