Head of State reinaugurates 3 areas of the University Hospital of Caracas equipped with AI

“This endowment is the product of cooperation agreements with China through a High-Level Joint Commission, today we can say that the University Hospital of Caracas is a pilot center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to health,” said Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, from this health center in the capital.
Rodríguez added that the cardiology unit was equipped with a 512-cut tomograph, the first in Latin America operating in fully equipped facilities with specialized personnel to ensure quality care.
this is a significant step forward in the transformation of one of the oldest health centers in our capital, which, with this equipment brought from China, strengthens the free and quality health service for the Venezuelan people.
“All this high-tech equipment that China wants to offer Venezuela because they want to turn our country into the technological center where you can see these scientific advances applied to health,” said the vice president.
