Head of State: The BRICS have already become the epicenter of the new multipolar world

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Tuesday the importance of BRICS for countries of the Global South and the consolidation of a new world order that breaks the hegemonism of the West.

After arriving at Kazan airport in Russia, where he will participate in the Summit of Heads of State of the economic bloc, the Venezuelan Dignitary said that “the BRICS have already become the epicenter of the new multipolar world, of the new geopolitics, of the diplomacy of peace”.

He stressed that, above all, the group represents “the hope that the countries of the Global South, which aspire to development, which for 200 years with Bolívar have been carrying the flag of equality and freedom, will have the possibility of accessing another economy, an economy that is not managed on the basis of sanctions, blackmail, but rather an economy that is managed on the basis of cooperation, truly free trade, shared investment, new technology. We are part of this world of the new world,” he emphasized.
