Head of State: The country's agricultural sector has 20 quarters of continuous growth

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that the Venezuelan Agricultural Sector has 20 quarters of continuous growth.

In the National Council for Productive Economy, he detailed that the agriculture sector has grown 4.52% in the first three quarters of 2025, maintaining its growth rate between 4 and 5%.

He stressed that “there was a commitment on the part of the agricultural producer, from the simplest and most humble conuco, family, to community conuco, to large areas (...) Now 90% of the food found in supermarkets is produced organically.”

“We changed, we changed that whole system. And the numbers in agriculture are growing. The dynamism of agricultural production was evidenced both in plant production and in animal production,” he said.
