The extremist opposition sector is not prepared to govern Venezuela and if one day fascism achieves political power they would not exercise that power democratically, as stated by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“They are truly fascists,” he emphasized at the People's Balcony in the Miraflores Palace, where he received revolutionary political forces in the company of the Chavista people, who traveled from Petare, Catia, La Vega and El Valle to celebrate the victory and defend the peace of the Republic.

He argued that in the context of the acts of violence, “the first thing they wanted yesterday was to storm the Mountain Barracks, to remove our Commander Chávez and humiliate him.”

“The Town of January 23 prevented them from doing so. What would the Town do if one day dawns with the news that the Mountain Barracks has been robbed? That will not happen, because we are going to succeed,” he said.

In this regard, the head of state stated that “I tell you my compatriots, we are in a historic moment, as it was on April 13 (2002), but there will be no 11, because April 11 will never be here again”.

In this direction, he pointed out that in Venezuela the triumph of the Bolivarian Revolution against fascism, “will be the triumph of Latin America and the Caribbean, it will also be the triumph of the Peoples who accompany us. It's the triumph of Bolivar's cause.”
