The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, criticized this Wednesday the campaign of hate and destabilization promoted by some international media against the country.

“The campaign is in the international media. They want to justify military intervention again against Venezuela, they want to justify sanctions against Venezuela again, they want to justify violence (...) Let the correspondents touch their hearts, if they have any heart left,” said the Head of State at a press conference with national and international media.

In this regard, he questioned: “Why do they want to bring Venezuela into a civil war again? Why this attack on Venezuela? What has Venezuela done against you, against the media of the United States, of Europe, of the West?”

He stressed that the West must accept “that there is a reality and we have another world and Venezuela has the right to its independent, sovereign project. Why this permanent campaign, first to destroy our economy, now to try to bring about a civil war with criminals and criminals who can do something to any of you?” , he rebuked.
