The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, explained that to the aggressions of the extremist right, the Venezuelan people have responded with votes.
After exercising his right to vote, the Head of State recalled how “in 2005 they (the right) irresponsibly withdrew two days before the elections to the National Assembly (AN)”, while recalling that this was the most productive period of the Legislative Branch, since laws were created in favor of the People.
He also indicated that in 2017 during the Constitutional process, opposition representatives “burned the country, (...) I remember when we woke up that day to vote early, I remember the rattling of machine guns and the explosion in Caracas and the reports of explosions everywhere and what did they do? for the people to come out and vote.”
From the Simón Rodríguez Ecological School, in Fort Tiuna, he added that the People remain “standing and victorious (...) they are nothing”.
