Head of State: Today we can say that we have a powerful scientific community

During the closing of the 1st International Congress “Scientific Convergences for a Shared Future” and the beginning of academic activities at the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the growth of the country's scientific community this Friday.

“Today we can say that we have a powerful scientific community and today we have a power of knowledge that our Republic did not have before,” said the Head of State.

He stressed that this power of knowledge and science “has created the conditions so that for the first time we have created, through the Great Humberto Fernández-Morán Science and Technology Mission, this powerful National University of Science”.
