The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that “today the cadets who train at the Bolivarian Military University -founded by Commander Chávez- do so in the spirit of Chávez's military leadership.”
From his program Maduro Podcast, the first national president interviewed the brother of the Eternal Commander, Adán Chávez, who told family stories and anecdotes about their childhood and upbringing.
“Chávez spent his entire military career as a great leader who marked another story. He represents a military generation with a great doctrinal impact for the entire continent, because the Bolivarian doctrine (ours: nationalist and Bolivarian) together with the model and concept of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) was created by Chávez,” he said.President Maduro added that this is the “history of Venezuela, of great leaders who have marked the passage of time and Chávez with the doctrine that I believe is for this time and for future times (...) I always told him that.”
