The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Friday, February 21, argued that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) completely lost the resources it provided to finance artists, influencers and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), to carry out destabilization work in the area that includes the communities of Petare, La Dolorita, Leoncio Martínez, Mariches and Caucagüita.
“I can tell USAID, those reais were lost because Petare is at peace and what is going on is for the better, Petare and the entire Sucre municipality,” he said.
The statement was made in the Sucre municipality where he led the activation of the Peace Quadrants by Commune or Community Circuit, equipment and staffing of the Security Forces.
“These artists, influencers and NGOs combined with the work done by Wilexis and all the criminals to generate from Petare a popular source of destabilization of Greater Caracas,” he stressed.
