This Wednesday, August 28, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, maintained that Venezuela has no guardians or is a colony and belongs exclusively and entirely to Venezuelan women, so the State Powers, not foreigners, fully rule the country.
This was emphasized in reference to the permanent interference of the United States government, even from Latin America and Europe. “What is that? who pretends to get in for whom no one has called them. Lack of respect, what a bug I sting at them.”
“We don't meddle in anyone's business,” he said at the Miraflores Palace, when he welcomed the Long March to celebrate a month of popular victory, in the Presidential Election of July 28.
“This Homeland belongs to us, we have been able to defend it as it defends a son, a daughter, a grandson, a granddaughter, and in our hands the Fatherland will not be lost, the Fatherland will prosper and will prevail for the hour and forever,” he said.
The head of state gave a brief summary of the difficult situations regarding the presidential elections in the United States with Donald Trump and in Brazil, in which fraud was sung, and about which “Venezuela did not get involved in that”.
