Head of State: Venezuela found a way to overcome the oil rentier mentality

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the country has found a way to overcome the oil rentier mentality by projecting itself into a net exporter of food, processed and finished products.

In his Con Maduro+ program this Monday, November 24, the Head of State said that the current goal is to produce everything in Venezuela to achieve 100% self-sufficiency and, simultaneously, to increase exports in an increasing way.

“An indestructible alliance with the private sector has been consolidated, thanks to the National Economic Council. The new model of the 13 Productive Motorcycles is not exclusive, because the state company can coexist with joint ventures with national and international capital, and with private initiatives. In the realm of Venezuela's new economy and the thirteen-engine model, we all fit,” he said.
