Head of State: Venezuela has found its way with its own economy

This Wednesday, October 15, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that Venezuela has found its way with its own economy, “this year we must close with a Gross Domestic Product of almost 150 billion dollars, higher than when we had 2010-2012 revenues of 57 billion dollars.”

He stressed that “we are moving that economy with 20% of what was the previous income, looking for balances”.

The statement was made at the Teresa Carreño Theater, where she led the meeting of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, a Sectorial and State chapter, with representatives of different sectors of the country, to address imperialist aggressions against Venezuela.

The head of state, addressing the businessmen, said that “all of you are prosperous and working and all businessmen, big and small, entrepreneurs, merchants are looking forward to the good end of the year that Venezuela is going to have in this quarter, the fourth quarter of the year.”

He acknowledged that “there are disturbances, we are going to overcome them too, it's a matter of time, balances. There is a Gross Domestic Product that has grown too much and requires balances.”

He also stressed that Venezuela will continue to invest in housing, education, health and Community Councils.

In this regard, he announced that “next Monday we are going to start delivering 20,000 financed works for communal circuits, already completed, with fields, schools, health infrastructure, peace houses, roads with resources that have been well managed”.
