The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, during his program With Maduro+, described as a first step in an effort to build a new type of relationship between the United States and Venezuela, the activation of the Back to the Homeland plan, which will allow Venezuelan migrants deported from this North American nation to return to the country.

“As agreed with the North American special envoy Richard Grenell, this Monday began the transfer of Venezuelans from the United States with absolute respect for their dignity and human rights, in two planes of the Venezuelan flag line CONVIASA to search for and transfer the compatriots who are returning to their homeland today and will be received by the Homeland Plan and the Minister of Popular Power for Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello,” said the National President.

He also stressed that Venezuela is the only country in the world to repatriate, from different parts of the world, thousands of compatriots who migrated because of economic sanctions and psychological warfare campaigns against our nation.
