Head of State: We are building the power of the Venezuelan nation to make peace irreversible

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stated that “we are building the power of the Venezuelan nation to make peace, independence and the Bolivarian revolution irreversible.”

At the close of a mobilization recorded this Wednesday, December 10 in the city of Caracas regarding the commemoration of the Battle of Santa Inés, he stated that the victory of peace is guaranteed without flinching and without betraying the people.

“How is peace guaranteed? Betraying Bolivar, Zamora, Chavez? (...) It is guaranteed with real courage, loyalty, strategy and by mobilizing the power that is in the sovereign People. We are going to record the formula so that no one ever betrays the people,” he said.

In this regard, he stated that “we swore before Chávez and the People and we have succeeded at the cost of our own skin and we will remain firm and loyal to that oath for peace in Venezuela. This is not a time for hesitation, nor for cowards, it is a time of courage, of combat and of building this Venezuelan homeland.”
