The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported this Monday that during the grassroots assemblies of the working class, around 50,000 delegates have been elected to the Constituent Congress, which will be held on December 14, 15 and 16.
“The working class is developing a process of grass-roots assembly and there are already almost 50,000 delegates elected by the workers' and workers' assemblies in their workplaces. A very powerful grassroots leadership is emerging,” said the head of state during the 98th broadcast of his show Con Maduro+.
He stressed that if there was already “a workers', trade union power that is decisive in the life of the country, what will emerge from here is the atomic bomb. We have the atomic bomb. The constituent power of the working class. We are heading to the Constituent Congress on December 14, 15, 16,” he stressed.
