Head of State: We have the trust, support and love of the Venezuelan working class

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, praised this Thursday the victorious trajectory of the Venezuelan working class and stressed that every working class face reflects the overcoming of great historical challenges.

During the Installation of the Promoting Commission for the Workers' Constituent Assembly, the President honored the loyalty and resistance of workers during the crucial moments of the Bolivarian Revolution. “I see the face of all of you and what I see and remember in these 26 years of Revolution in the face of each one of you what I see is pure victory,” he said.

He recalled the victory of April 13 and 14, 2002, with the “victorious working class replenishing Chávez, rescuing democracy. Oil sabotage December 2002, January, February, March 2003; the working class replenishing the country's oil system. And stop counting. Gringo missiles from sanctions 2017, 2021, the working class producing and victorious,” he stressed.

“We already have the experience here, no one can tell us about it. We have the awareness, the knowledge and the preparation. We have the trust, support and love of our colleagues and co-workers, the Venezuelan working class,” added the Dignitary.

In this regard, he stressed that the Workers' Constituent Assembly represents a “transcendental step that we are going to take at this very special moment in Venezuela, where we are threatened daily in word by the American empire, daily psychological war, words for there, words for here”.
