Head of State: We must completely reengineer the Venezuelan State

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that it is necessary to carry out a complete reengineering of the Venezuelan State, for which he will soon present to the People a plan to carry out this transformation.

He reiterated that a plan is being drawn up to present the transformation of governorates and mayors in Venezuela, “to turn them around as complete measures and put them at the obediential service of the people's power.”

He argued that “many come to be governors or governors to think they are little kings, little emperors and do not recognize that the only king and emperor here in Venezuela, the only sovereign is the humble people, is the ordinary, simple people who have taken hold and have fought, who sacrificed themselves in the toughest years to keep the Fatherland on its feet”.

This was emphasized at the La Carlota Convention Center, where he participates in the High-Level Workshop of the Popular Government, where he added that it is necessary to change what no longer works.

“We are going to see a great transformation in all the forms and methods used to make decisions and govern, as the People are served and problems are addressed, ministry by ministry,” he stressed.
