Head of State wished Pope Francis a speedy recovery: Count on the prayer of the People of Venezuela

After noting that four days ago he had sent a letter with his expressions of desire for a speedy recovery, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, expressed his support for Pope Francis, to whom he told him that the People of Venezuela are praying for his healing.

“I have sent a letter to Pope Francis, he knows that he has the fervent prayer of the people of Venezuela. We wish him a speedy recovery,” he said.

During his program With Maduro+, the National President exalted the humanist actions of the supreme pontiff.

“Pope Francis is an example, because he has established positions of justice for humanity,” he said.
