Head of State: Youth Leadership School will be the epicenter for anti-fascist training

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the “Antonio José de Sucre” International Youth Leadership School will be the epicenter for the anti-fascist formation of the Global Antifascist Youth Movement.

“At the time, Bolívar, on February 15, 1819, said: ignorance has dominated us rather than force. An ignorant people is a blind instrument of their own destruction,” highlighted in Miranda state during the inauguration ceremony of the aforementioned International Youth Leadership School, in the framework of Youth Day and the 211th Anniversary of the Battle of Victory.

He stressed that “that's why they (extremist opposition) want us ignorant, to manipulate us and sow the anti-values of individualism, fascism and colonialism.”

For that reason, he argued that this school will be “the vaccine against fascism and new colonialism”, since it will be a headquarters for education, culture and values.

In this regard, he stressed that the young people of the Homeland must be trained under the philosophy of Simon Rodríguez, Professor Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, Aristobulo Istúriz and Commander Hugo Chávez.

“There must be comprehensive leadership, a vision based on truth, thinking of action, resistance and struggle,” he emphasized.
