The facilities of the headquarters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in Charallave were the epicenter of the swearing in of the Campaign Command of the health sector of the Valles del Tuy axis, ahead of the National Popular Consultation on July 12.
According to a press release from the local government, it is a strategic structure that will assume the political and social task during the electoral process and unifies the structures of doctors, nurses, administrative staff and workers, in order to mobilize, guide and accompany the people in the prioritization and selection of projects that will directly impact the public health system.
During the activity, Andy Frutos, head of the regional Campaign Command, stressed that “the health sector organizes, raises awareness and defends the achievements of the people. Today, this command assumes a historic task heading to July 12 with a communal deployment to ensure that health is a great flag prioritized by popular power.”
For his part, Erick Ramírez, the sole health authority of the state of Miranda, recognized the dedication of the healthcare workforce and its leading role in the territory. “Our sector has remained firm and has been one of the most benefited from Popular Consultations in the 478 Communes and Community Circuits of Miranda. Thanks to the health committees and to all the workers who every day demonstrate that, by joining forces, projects are consolidated.”
