Heavy rains and floods leave tropical storm Sara in Honduras

This Friday, media and social networks in Honduras reported that Tropical Storm Sara made landfall on Thursday night in the northeast of the country, leaving in its wake heavy rains and floods.
In the midst of the arrival of the meteorological phenomenon, the Honduran Armed Forces mobilized personnel from the Humanitarian and Rescue Unit to the departments of Colón, Cortés and Atlántida to support the inhabitants of the area due to the damage caused by storm Sara.
The National Weather Service of Mexico (SMN) reported that due to Sara's proximity, the risk of very heavy rains has intensified in the Yucatan Peninsula and part of the south of the country.
