Héctor Rodríguez: Popular Government must become an articulation

The Popular, communal Government must coordinate with the different levels of government to put the State at the service of the people to solve their concrete problems, said Social and Territorial Vice President, Héctor Rodríguez.

“This has to be converted into an articulation that puts at the service of our people, of our people, all the capacities to solve the concrete problems that our people are prioritizing,” he said during the opening of the high-level Popular Government workshop.

In this regard, he explained that this joint work should serve to strengthen coordination and not to allow for competition between mayors, governorates and communal government.

“With these we seek more democracy, to get all citizens involved, not only in the election of their rulers but in the daily exercise of government. More efficiency, more transparency, more articulation,” he explained.
