Hermann Escarrà: Choosing authorities in Guiana Esequiba represents a territorial defense

The election, this Sunday, May 25, of the new authorities of the Guayana Esequiba state represents an exercise of sovereignty and territorial defense in Venezuela, said the deputy to the National Assembly, Hermann Escarrà.
From the Carlos Escarrà Malavé National Educational Unit, located in the Joaquín Crespo parish in the state of Aragua, the parliamentarian said that this May 25, a fundamental step is being taken in the Republic, by electing 24 governors in the 32nd election held in the country.
In addition, according to a press release from the National Assembly, he stressed that this is a democratic and peaceful election to decide who will hold the positions of governor, regional deputies and legislators of the parliament of the state of Guiana Esequiba, which he described as a fundamental historical moment in Venezuela.
He described as a democratic holiday the leading participation of citizens, who exercise their right to vote to elect 24 governors, 260 regional deputies and 285 legislators of the National Assembly on May 25.
