Hernández Lárez highlights merger of the country's citizen security forces

The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, highlighted this Friday the importance of the merger of citizen security forces to preserve the peace of the nation and the protection of the people.

During the ceremony of delivering equipment for security and citizen protection forces, led by President Nicolás Maduro, Hernández Lárez recalled articles 328 and 332 of the Constitution of the Republic, which highlight the merger of the country's military and police forces.

“We have seen and demonstrated this growth that the Armed Forces and citizen security agencies have had to guarantee protection and social peace to the People, all working together and concatenated in the 3,000 peace quadrants that we currently have in this merger, in these plans (...) we are jointly articulated in all territories,” he said.

He praised the preparation that officials receive, “under the same premise of unity to have a Homeland in this Bolivarian Shield (...) we can say that we are really well united working together for the freedom and independence of our Homeland”.
