HERO MOTHERS MOVEMENT
Caracas
August 18, 2025
Mrs. Melania Trump,
First Lady of the United States of America

We are Venezuelan mothers whose children have been separated from our arms, they have been kept under painful circumstances in U.S. territory as a result of the deportation of migrants, a policy that has broken up entire families, exposing children to living in uncertainty and exposed to a reality that they cannot fully understand.

Can you be calm for a minute without knowing your child's whereabouts? Would you sleep peacefully without knowing if I ate or how you feel? We can 't move forward without having them around.

Today we raise our voices in the name of our families and of mother's love and of human rights, to ask for your attention in the face of a tragedy that has been hidden in the face of the deployment of anti-migrant policy in the United States that does not allow families to return together.

We are women of faith, we are part of working families, now we just want to see our children again. Children are being denied the right to grow in love, children's rights are above any political decision.
Mrs. Melania, you are a mother, and you have publicly advocated for the welfare of children in the world. We ask you as mothers to raise our voices, to help our children to return to their homes, to be a bridge to the justice and humanity that you invoke. We ask you to hear the cry of families, that this separation policy does not continue to happen, that they simply deport mothers and their children.

With faith in the fact that you can still influence to create happy closures and stop this suffering for our children, we say goodbye with deep hope. Free our children.
