HIDROCAPITAL will suspend water service for 48 hours in Caracas and Miranda

Through the social network Instagram, the Hydrological Office of the Capital Region (HIDROCAPITAL) reported that water service will be suspended for 48 hours starting next Thursday in several sectors of Caracas and Miranda due to maintenance of the Tuy II System.

“We inform users of Caracas and Miranda that as part of the Comprehensive Plan for Strengthening, Stabilizing and Maintaining the Water System, a scheduled shutdown of the Tuy II system will be carried out, starting Thursday, August 29, 2024, for a period of 48 hours,” wrote HIDROCAPITAL on the social network.

In this regard, he explained that among the activities that will be carried out is the interconnection of 300 meters of 100-inch pipe in the El Encantado sector, El Hatillo municipality.

He noted that despite these works, the Tuy I and Tuy III systems will remain operational.
