Hollywood actor criticizes US sanctions against Venezuela: They murder and destroy the economy

The Hollywood actor of Colombian origin, John Leguizamo, assured that the blockade and sanctions imposed on Venezuela by the United States harm the Venezuelan economy.

During an interview with a media outlet in the North American country, Leguizamo described the sanctions as “murderous” while noting that “the United States caused a large part of the problem of Venezuelan immigration.”

He explained that the coercive measures have caused harm to the Venezuelan population because the United States and England are interested in the country's natural resources.

“Because (Venezuela) has the largest gold reserves in the world, so that's another problem that needs to be addressed,” he said.
