More than 300 nocturnal mobilizations have been registered in the country in rejection of the theft of a Venezuelan oil tanker by the Government of the United States (USA) in waters of the Caribbean Sea.

On Monday night, a busy march took place in San Juan de Payara in the state of Apure, in protest against piracy and the theft of the assets of the Venezuelan people. The Sanjuaneros, in the capital of the Pedro Camejo municipality, mobilized together with regional and municipal authorities, as well as members of the state and municipal political teams, as well as the grassroots leadership and the common people of San Juan de Payara who want to live in peace, and in tranquility, under the country's own democracy, without any protection from foreign powers.

Meanwhile, the People of Barcelona marched out in a demonstration to defend national sovereignty and independence. As detailed by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) through social networks, “in a perfect popular-military-police fusion, the mobilization started from Plaza Rolando to the Gran Plaza Libertadores.” Mayor Sugey Herrera highlighted the courage of the Venezuelan people in the face of threats and aggressions by Imperialism, “we will take to the streets as many times as necessary to defend our homeland, our resources and our freedom.”

Simultaneously, in the other 20 municipalities of the state of Anzoátegui, night activities were carried out in defense of Sovereignty and in support of President Nicolás Maduro.

Meanwhile, in the state of Táchira, they strongly expressed their rejection of the Trump administration's criminal actions against international law by holding a night march.

For their part, the indigenous peoples of the state of Amazonas took to the streets of Puerto Ayacucho en masse on Monday night to march for Popular Unity, the transition to socialism and for the defense of our sovereignty.
