IMATUR restricted access to seven beaches due to strong waves in Carabobo

The Municipal Tourism Institute (IMATUR) of Puerto Cabello reported the restriction of seven beaches on the coast due to bad weather and strong winds off the coast of Carabobo state.

Among the beaches with restricted access are: El Palito, Waikiki, La Cumboteña, Huequito Beach, Gañango, Beach and Mar Azul. The entity announced that the measure will be applied for 24 hours. However, he did not rule out his extension to continue the strong waves.

In addition, IMATUR highlighted that the beaches suitable for the public are Sonrisa Beach, Costa Azul A and B, fishing pier, La Rosa, Gañango pier and Patanemo.

The Aquatic Police, Municipal Police of Puerto Cabello, Coast Guard, Marine Firefighters, Municipal Firefighters and Carabobo Police carried out an inspection along the coastal axis to verify the conditions of the beaches, according to a press release from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
