The head
of the Government of the Capital District (GDC), Nahum Fernández, announced the completion of the repair work
on the collapse of Francisco Solano Avenue, El
Recreo parish, which occurred last Thursday.
Through a post on his Instagram account, Fernández
pointed out that these works were successfully completed and that they were carried out in
coordination with the teams of the Bolivarian Government and the popular power.
“It has been an arduous but highly fruitful task, framed in the transformation
policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro,” he wrote.
The repair of this subsidence, which occurred due to the collapse of
a drinking water pipe more than 70 years old, was carried out in less than 24 hours.
