In Táchira, 14,000 people have been counseled in road matters

Within the framework of the Carnaval Insurance Device 2024, a reach of 14,000 people oriented to road matters was achieved along the main trunks, branches and sub-branches of the state of Táchira, the government reported in a press release.

In this regard, the entity specified that Táchira Civil Protection, together with the municipal authorities, carried out tasks for five days, while indicating that 2,800 drivers were guided in the road classrooms who had committed violations of the Traffic and Land Transport Act; an alternative in which, through audiovisual material and educational talks, road awareness is sought to generate road awareness.

“In the opinion of the director of Civil Protection Táchira and Head of ZOEDAN, Yesnardo Canal, the implementation of a high-impact campaign had a direct impact on the eradication of high road accidents, since for the third consecutive year, the incidence of those who are willing to enjoy carnival activities in a specific way has been reported to be zero,” the note noted.
