INAMEH: Atmospheric disturbance due to the passage of tropical wave 48 does not represent a danger to the country

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH), this Monday, October 20, reported that the atmospheric disturbance created by the passage of tropical wave number 48 west of the Caribbean Sea, currently does not represent a direct danger to Venezuela.
According to a report from the agency, issued at 2:30pm, it is indicated that the climate phenomenon is located 220 kilometers from the central coast of Venezuela (about 67°W and 14°N).
It develops a westward movement at a speed of 35 km/h, which causes convective development and generates rainfall, in addition to electrical activity.
The forecast indicates that the probability of cyclone development is at a level of 90% in the next seven days, as it approaches the Central Caribbean.
As for the weather situation this Monday, he predicted cloudy areas accompanied by moderate-intensity rainfall and possible electric shocks, in the following areas: Anzoátegui, Miranda, La Guaira, Capital District, Aragua and Guárico.
Weather conditions are expected to continue for the next two hours.
