Regarding the rainy season that began in the national territory, the president of the National Institute of Meteorology (INAMEH), Reidy Zambrano, announced that the National Integrated Risk Management System (SNGR) of the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), has an alert system early called the Aurora Station System.

In this regard, he explained that this system is aimed at vulnerable areas of the country, with the purpose of reducing the effects that rains would cause in these areas, while adding that the Aurora Station System was developed by Venezuelan scientists and technology.

He specified that it will be used by the People's Power and will allow the rainfall to be measured, “which in turn allows this technical resource to emit a sound or visual alert signal, which detects a considerable amount of rainfall that could pose a risk to the community in general.”

“Through the Aurora Station System, it will be able to specify in real time possible excessive precipitation so that it can send such information to the National Institute of Meteorology, with the purpose of taking appropriate action in the face of this type of possible emergency,” reported the MPPRIJP.
